What’s On Around Louth & the Local Area in October
When you stay at Lakeside Park, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy not just on-site fun, but also a vibrant local scene in Louth and nearby villages through October. At Louth’s Riverhead Theatre, expect shows like the Fantastic Funky Fusion Circus on 17 October, a lively production for all the family. The town also hosts regular markets (Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) where you can browse local crafts, fresh produce and regional treats.
Nature lovers will enjoy walks through Hubbard’s Hills, a scenic valley on the edge of Louth, especially beautiful in autumn with golden leaves and crisp air. And for a touch of local flavour, don’t miss the “Wool in the Wolds” events running through autumn, or the Haunted Hall events at Gunby Hall held on 25, 26 & 31 October.
So, during your October break, you can mix lakeside entertainment with theatre trips, town markets, countryside walks, and seasonal local festivals, all just a short drive from Lakeside Park.
Whether you’re dancing along to live music, carving pumpkins with the kids, or simply soaking up the autumn atmosphere, October Half Term at Lakeside Park promises something for everyone.
